Game 4 Recap: Northern Kentucky 77, UNC Asheville 50

Northern Kentucky opened the KEMI Northern Kentucky Basketball Classic with a 77-50 win over UNC Asheville at BB&T Arena Friday night. NKU used an 11-0 run to take a 22-5 lead and finished the first half up 37-19. A 19-0 Norse run late in the game secured the blowout win. Drew McDonald recorded a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Jalen Tate led NKU (4-0) with 16 points. DeVon Baker paced UNC Asheville with 18 points. The Norse host Manhattan tomorrow in tourney play. Manhattan defeated Coastal Carolina, 55-53, in the opening game of the tournament.

Game 3 Recap: Northern Kentucky 99, Wabash College 59

Northern Kentucky posted an easy 99-59 win over Wabash College at BB&T Arena Friday night. After falling behind 9-2 early, the Norse outscored Wabash 56-17 over the rest of the first half to take a 32-point lead into halftime. NKU (3-0) would extend the lead to as many as 51 in the second half. Zaynah Robinson led five Norse in double figure scoring with 16 points. Jack Davidson had 19 points for the Little Giants (0-1) to lead all scorers.
