NKU’s season ends with NCAA tourney loss to Texas Tech, 72-57
Northern Kentucky saw its season come to an end with a 72-57 loss to Texas Tech in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Friday afternoon at the Bank of Oklahoma Center. Tyler Sharpe led the Norse (26-9) with 23 points. Drew McDonald and Jalen Tate were held to a combined 11 points and 4-for-25 shooting. Texas Tech’s Jarrett Culver led all scorers with 29 points. The Red Raiders (27-6) advance to play Buffalo on Sunday.
