NKU gets Alabama transfer Jeff Garrett

NKU coach John Brannen announced on Twitter that Alabama forward Jeff Garrett will transfer to Northern Kentucky. The 6-7, 205-pounder redshirted this past year for the Crimson Tide. After sitting out the 2015-16 season, Garrett will have three years of eligibility with the Norse. Garrett played his first three years of high school ball at Gadsden City (AL) High School before transferring to Oldsmar Christian (FL) for his senior season. At Oldsmar Christian, Garrett averaged 18.3 points, 10.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 blocks per game and was named third team all-state by the Florida High School Athletic Association.
