NKU adds JUCO transfer Brandon Maxwell

Northern Kentucky has announced the addition of Junior College transfer Brandon Maxwell to its 2016-17 recruiting class. Maxwell transfers from Daytona State College where he led the Falcons to a 25-7 record in his only season with the team. The 6-foot-2 native of Orlando, Florida, averaged 13 points per game and made 83 three-pointers this season.

Maxwell is immediately eligible and will have three years of eligibility. He is the son of 13-year veteran and two-time NBA Champion Vernon Maxwell. Maxwell joins five incoming freshmen  to form what Next Up Recruits calls “easily one of the best mid-major classes in the country for the class of 2016.”
