Game 8 Recap: Northern Kentucky 93, Morehead St. 71
Drew McDonald recorded a triple-double to help lead Northern Kentucky to a 93-71 win at Morehead St. Tuesday night. McDonald’s 12 point, 14 rebound and 11 assist night was the first triple-double by a Norse player since 2001. NKU (7-1) took a 46-38 halftime lead, went on a 21-6 run after half and cruised to the win. Tyler Sharpe scored a career-high 28 points and Zaynah Robinson dropped in 20. AJ Hicks had 20 points to lead the Eagles (2-5).
