Game 4 Recap: Northern Kentucky 77, UNC Asheville 50

Northern Kentucky opened the KEMI Northern Kentucky Basketball Classic with a 77-50 win over UNC Asheville at BB&T Arena Friday night. NKU used an 11-0 run to take a 22-5 lead and finished the first half up 37-19. A 19-0 Norse run late in the game secured the blowout win. Drew McDonald recorded a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Jalen Tate led NKU (4-0) with 16 points. DeVon Baker paced UNC Asheville with 18 points. The Norse host Manhattan tomorrow in tourney play. Manhattan defeated Coastal Carolina, 55-53, in the opening game of the tournament.
