Game 30 Recap: Northern Kentucky 75, IUPUI 56
Northern Kentucky clinched the Horizon League regular season Championship with a 75-56 win at IUPUI Sunday afternoon. The Norse (22-8, 15-3 Horizon) were in charge throughout building a 32-17 halftime lead and not allowing the Jaguars (11-18, 8-10) closer than 14 points in the second half. Lavone Holland II led the way with 17 points while Drew McDonald carded his 16th double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds. IUPUI got 14 points each from Ron Patterson and TJ Henderson. The win secure the 1-seed for NKU in the upcoming Horizon League Tournament. The Norse will face the Cleveland St./Youngstown St. winner 8 PM Saturday at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
