Game 25 Recap: Northern Kentucky 69, Green Bay 67

Northern Kentucky opened up a big first-half lead over Green Bay and held on for a 69-67 win at BB&T Arena Thursday night. The Norse hit seven first-half three-pointers and led by as much as 17 in the opening stanza. In the second half, Green Bay whittled the NKU lead down to 63-61 with just over five minutes to play. A Lavone Holland II three pushed the lead  back to 69-63 with 2:35 left. The Phoenix would get back to within two but the Norse (16-9, 7-5 Horizon) forced two turnovers in the last 34 seconds to secure the win. Cole Murray led four NKU players in double figures with 17 points. Kerem Kanter had 23 points to lead Green Bay (15-10, 9-4).
