Game 24 Recap: Northern Kentucky 83, Wright St. 79

Northern Kentucky prevailed over Wright St. 83-79 in a seesaw battle at the Nutter Center Saturday night. After trailing most of the first half, the Norse worked their way to a 47-46 lead with 13:01 left to play. A Cole Murray 3-pointer sparked a 13-4 NKU run and the Norse took a 67-61 lead with 5:59 left. The Raiders got within two but Jordan Garnett nailed a three as the shot-clock expired for a 79-74 lead with 28 seconds to play. Drew McDonald closed it out with four free throws. McDonald led Northern Kentucky (15-9, 6-5 Horizon) in scoring with 20 points. Cole Murray and Carson Williams each added 14. Mark Alstork was high man for the Raiders (15-9, 6-5) with 27.
