Northern Kentucky posted a 78-61 win over Cleveland State Saturday afternoon at the Wolstein Center. The Norse (17-7, 10-2 Horizon) shot 15-of-25 (60.0%) from the floor and 7-of-10 (70.0%) from the three-point line to take a 40-26 halftime lead. The Vikings (6-19, 3-9) wouldn’t get closer than 10 points in the second half. Lavone Holland II led all scorers with 21 points. Drew McDonald added 19 and Mason Faulkner chipped in with 14 points off the bench. Kenny Carpenter and Tyree Appleby each had 13 points to pace CSU.
