Game 21 Recap: Oakland 85, Northern Kentucky 74

Drew McDonald’s career-high 23 points were not enough as Northern Kentucky fell 85-74 to Oakland Monday night at BB&T Arena. The difference in the game was at the free throw line where the Girzzlies (15-8, 7-3 Horizon) hit 27-of-30 while the Norse (8-13, 4-6) were 14-of-22. Oakland’s Kay Felder hit all 11 of his free throw attempts on the way to a game-high 24 points. Dean Danos had 12 points and Tyler White 11 to join McDonald in double-figure scoring.
