Game 2 Recap: Northern Kentucky 93, Wilmington 65
Eleven Northern Kentucky players scored in a 93-65 blowout win over Wilmington College Saturday afternoon at BB&T Arena. Building off a 20-point halftime lead, the Norse went on 13-2 run in the opening 4:30 of the second half to extend the lead to 65-34 and were never headed. Drew McDonald recorded his second straight double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds while Jeff Garrett notched his first with a career-high 13 points and 15 boards.The Norse next play James Madison on Friday in the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase.
