Game 11 Recap: Eastern Kentucky 76, Northern Kentucky 74
Nick Mayo sunk a jumper with 0.4 seconds left to give Eastern Kentucky a 76-74 win over visiting Northern Kentucky Saturday night. A close game throughout, a Drew McDonald basket gave NKU a 74-72 lead with 1:01 to play. Mayo his two free throws with 46 seconds left to tie the game and set up his eventual game-winner. Drew McDonald led the Norse (8-3) with 23 points and became the all-time leading rebounder in NKU history with an offensive rebound in the first half. Mayo led all scorers with 27 points for the Colonels (6-4).
