Game 10 Recap: Northern Kentucky 91, Eastern Kentucky 63
Drew McDonald and Carson Williams powered Northern Kentucky to a 91-63 win over Eastern Kentucky Sunday night at BB&T Arena. The pair combined to score 44 points while shooting 83% (19-for-23) from the floor. McDonald added nine rebounds to his 23 points. Williams stuffed the stat sheet with 21 points, six rebounds, three assists and career-high five steals. Jackson Davis had 13 points to lead the Colonels (4-6). Building on a 37-29 halftime lead, NKU (7-3) started the second half on a 10-1 run that put the game out of reach. The Norse outscored EKU 64-22 in the paint and held a 39-24 advantage on the boards.
