Game 1 Recap: Northern Kentucky 81, East Tennessee St. 63
Northern Kentucky opened its 2017-18 campaign with an 81-63 win over East Tennessee St. Friday night at BB&T Arena. Drew McDonald recorded a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds in 28 minutes of play. Lavone Holland II finished with 16 points and Carson Williams added 15. Desonta Bradford led the Buccaneers (0-1) with 15 points. The Norse rest for a day and then host Wilmington Sunday.
