Northern Kentucky hoops picked last in preseason poll

Northern Kentucky basketball was picked to finish last in the Horizon League in the preseason poll released at today’s Horizon League Media Day. The poll is voted on by coaches, media and sports information directors. Valparaiso was tabbed as the overwhelming favorite to win the Horizon. The 2015-16 campaign is NKU’s inaugural season in the Horizon League. No Norse were named to the All-Conference First or Second Teams.
