Game 7 Recap: Northern Kentucky 84, Morehead St. 79

Drew McDonald’s power layup with one minute left put Northern Kentucky ahead for good in an 84-79 win at Morehead St. Wednesday night. McDonald’s career-high 32 points led five Norse (4-3) in double figures. He has now reached the 20-point plateau in five-straight games, the longest stretch for a Norse in at least the last 10 seasons. Malik Maitland had 18 points to lead five double-digit scorers for the Eagles (2-4).
