Game 5 Recap: Northern Kentucky 79, Miami (OH) 70

Lavone Holland II and Drew McDonald combined for 48 points in Northern Kentucky’s finale of the Tarkett Sports Classic, which saw the Norse (3-2) down host Miami (Ohio), 79-70, at Millett Hall Sunday afternoon. Holland posted a team-high 25 points. McDonald had 23 points and finished with nine rebounds, one shy of recording a third-straight double-double. Both Holland and McDonald earned All-Tournament teams. Michael Weathers led all scorers with 31 points for the RedHawks (2-3).
