Game 3 Recap: Austin Peay 77, Northern Kentucky 69

Northern Kentucky saw a big second-half lead slip away and fell 77-69 to Austin Peay on Friday evening in the first game of the Tarkett Sports Classic hosted by Miami (Ohio) at Millet Hall. The Norse led 48-32 with 12 minutes to play but the Governors whittled that down to 66-59 with 4:24 to play. From there, Austin Peay went on a 12-0 run to put the game away. Drew McDonald had 21 points and 12 rebounds for NKU. Josh Robinson had 31 points to lead the Govs.

Next up for the Norse in the Tarkett Sports Classic is Delaware Saturday afternoon at 1:30.
