Game 23 Recap: Northern Kentucky 95, Youngstown St. 85

Northern Kentucky picked up its fifth straight road win with a 95-85 triumph at Youngstown State Thursday night. YSU (6-18, 4-7 Horizon) held the halftime lead and trailed just 63-61 with 13:22 to play. But an 11-1 Norse (16-7, 9-2) run over the next three minutes proved to be the difference. Drew McDonald had a double-double of 26 points and 16 rebounds to lead five Norse in double figures. Carson Williams went 9-for-12 from the floor for 19 points, Tyler Sharpe hit 4 three-pointers to finish with 15 points, Mason Faulkner had 12 points off the bench and Lavone Holland II chipped in with 11. Braun Hartfield had 23 points to lead the Penguins.
