Game 22 Recap: Northern Kentucky 72, Detroit Mercy 44
A stingy Northern Kentucky defense held Detroit Mercy to 28% shooting in a 72-44 win Sunday afternoon at BB&T Arena. The Titans (6-17, 2-8 Horizon) shot just 19% in the first half as the Norse (15-7, 8-2) opened up a 33-16 halftime lead. NKU outscored Detroit Mercy 16-4 to start the second half, and the Norse led by as much as 32 in the game. Drew McDonald picked up his 10th double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Carson Williams and Tyler Sharpe added 13 and 10 points respectively. Corey Allen led the Titans with 11 points.
