Horizon League leader Valparaiso used sting defense to secure a 71-46 win over Northern Kentucky Sunday afternoon at BB&T Arena. The Crusaders (17-4, 7-1 Horizon) held the Norse (7-12, 3-5) to just 29% shooting for the game. Jalen Billups led NKU with 17 points. Keith Carter had 16 points to lead four Valpo players in double figure scoring.
