Game 16 Recap: Northern Kentucky 83, Youngstown St. 70

Freshman Mason Faulkner poured in a career-high 24 points to lead Northern Kentucky to an 83-70 win over Youngstown St. Thursday night at BB&T Arena. With the Norse leading 25-20, Faulkner scored 8 of the 10 points on a 10-run. That gave NKU (11-5, 2-1 Horizon) a working lead it would not relinquish. Drew McDonald grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds. Paired with his 15 points, it was McDonald’s sixth double-double of the season. Cameron Morse had 13 points to lead four players in double figure for the Penguins (7-9, 1-2).
