Game 1 Recap: Northern Kentucky 96, Earlham 56

Freshman Carson Williams’ 15 points led five players in double figures as Northern Kentucky cruised to a 96-56 win over Earlham Friday night at BB&T Arena. Jeff Garrett marked his collegiate debut by recording a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. The Norse shot an impressive 64% for the game, including 75% in the second half. NKU will now take a step up in competition level as they travel to Illinois for a Sunday matchup with the Illini.
