Looking at KenPom.com:
- ETSU predicted to win 75-74 so Norse with 48% chance of winning
- NKU 36th in the country in effective FG% (56.3%). Shooting an impressive 60.1% on two-point attempts.
- ETSU one of the worst in the nation at turning the ball over, losing the ball on 22.7% of offensive possessions. Meanwhile, NKU defensively is 16th in the nation turning opponents over 24.9% of the time.
Will be interesting to see how round two turns out.

Norse fall on the road 84-71. McDonald got into foul trouble early and NKU got down 46-28 at half. That was pretty much that. Didn't get closer than 12 in the second half.
